Our fire doors are available in several wood species. Because no two trees are exactly alike, natural variations in color and graining are inherent characteristics and add to the beauty of wood. These variations may cause noticeable differences between our samples and the finished doors. As a result of the natural aging process of finished wood the tone of the finished product will change with time. These grain and tone differences and color changes are a natural and acceptable condition of quality wood.
